Ah, the dress

Perhaps the most stressful part of planning is THE DRESS. While planning my own vow renewal I made the “mistake” of purchasing a dress right up front, and although I love it there are so many amazing styles coming out between now and my date! I’m sad I cannot try them all on.

So my post for today is about some designers and dresses that are original but still classy. I firmly believe in not wearing a dress that is too available or is the “poster dress” for a designer – be unique!

Now don’t get me wrong, I truly love dresses by such classic designers as Amsale, Reem Acra, and Lazaro. But what I seem to be drawn to is a style that isn’t “done” as much as the regular sheath, ballgown, etc. I especially love when designers use architectural lines, such as Peter Langner’s ‘Melody’ dress (last image on r above). Also, I want a dress to flow and to be feminine – all of which the designers above do especially well.

Hope you enjoyed the eye candy!
E.
