Oh So Pretty Orange!

OK, I’m the first to admit that I really do not love orange, in general. I’m a brunette so anytime I wear orange I look like I’m dressing up for Halloween. However, in planning my vow renewal I’ve so surprised myself by loving the color palette of orange and white!

I think that this works best for a morning or early afternoon wedding, and I love the idea of pairing orange and white with one other color such as red, yellow, brown, or even pink!

This floral design is amazing and so FRESH and these orange centerpieces are gorgeous.

Martha Stewart, my domestic goddess, also has wonderful ideas for incorporating orange into your event. Here is my exclusively Martha orange inspiration board!

I hope this inspires you to go orange!

Elizabeth, I can completely understand your hesitation about using orange; but recently when I was deciding on a color scheme for a fall table setting I chose orange and brown. The two together are so warm and welcoming, which is feeling that I wanted to evoke with family and friends sitting around the table.

I love this color combination and it’s a great way to use orange (even after Halloween)! Let me know if you decide to use orange.

Cheers,
Sarah
