Elizabeth, I can completely understand your hesitation about using orange; but recently when I was deciding on a color scheme for a fall table setting I chose orange and brown. The two together are so warm and welcoming, which is feeling that I wanted to evoke with family and friends sitting around the table.

I love this color combination and it's a great way to use orange (even after Halloween)! Let me know if you decide to use orange.

Cheers,
Sarah

http://toastandtables.blogspot.com/2007/10/orange-crush.html

http://toastandtables.blogspot.com/2007/10/orange-crush.html
