Paper Orchid

I came across this very original stationer via a new blog that I enjoyed reading today, Bellissima Vita.  Their medium is laser cutting - something that I’ve never seen used for wedding invitations but looks amazing!  I love the way that the laser cuts create dimension without adding bulk, a quality that I can appreciate as a designer.

Even if the invitations aren’t your cup of tea, how gorgeous are the envelope seals?  These would be a wonderful touch as a closure to your invitation’s outer envelope.  The favor boxes and cupcake holders used together would be perfect for an afternoon tea wedding with a vintage twist or a bridal shower.  And I absolutely love the blank note cards (thank you notes anyone?).  Everything is so delicate and feminine, isn’t it great?

I love these cupcake wrappers by Paper Orchid. Trying to order some but shipping internationally very expensive. My husband and I had a lazer-cut cover to our wedding invitation, something different and unsual - designed the invite ourselves. Small pic on my blog if you’d like to check it out.
