Elizabeth Anne Designs

It’s HERE!!!… and a Contest ending Friday

My Gocco, that is. I need a project to break it in - any ideas? Best idea receives 10 free sets of whatever I make, including envelopes! The only rules - it has to be a single screen, since it’s my first project, and less than 4×6 in size. You can either send designs to elizabeth at elizabethannedesigns dot com or just post ideas below - be as specific or as general as you like! Contest ends Friday night at midnight so I can Gocco this weekend - winner to be announed on Sunday evening along with a step-by-step photo gallery of my first Gocco experience!

Many of you have asked where I purchased my Gocco from, and for some more details on the machine itself. I purchased a PG-11 from the ebay seller printaddictjapan. She shipped from Japan in 4 business days! I decided on the PG-11 after reading many articles about the different models - the PG-11 is an upgrade over the PG-5 machine because it has a registration plate that makes printing multiple colors easier.

My ink came from Northwood Studios - they are in the US, have a great selection of ink and supplies, and very reasonable and fast shipping. The ink also came today - as you can see I got LOTS of colors!

OK - give me some good ideas please! I’m waiting to play until I hear from all of you.

E.

Welcome to the world of Gocco :) I hope you love it. I love mine even when it gets a little testy. I’ll have to submit a design. What fun :) If you’re looking for another supplies source think ink (http://www.thinkink.net/Qstore/Qstore.cgi) is good too. Lots of inks and shipping comes fast too.

Hi! I’m looking to buying a gocco and debating between a Pg5 and Pg11. I’ve asked thisone question on a million forums but I haven’t gotten an answer yet. Since you bought a Pg11, perhaps you can help?

I am wondering what is the largest paper size the Pg 11 can print on without creasing the paper… help?

Hi Emily. It can print 4×6. The basic difference between the 5 and the 11 models is the registration plate, which makes lining up multiple-screen prints easier.

thanks elizabeth! one more question…

can the registration guide be lowered so images can be printed on larger paper? I am hoping to print some of my wedding stationary on paper that is approximatly 5”x11″.

yes, it can - i would be worried about the centering, however, since that guide is what insures you are perfectly in line with the plate.

I WANT A GOCCO!

I had no idea what they were until I started blogging, actually I have a feeling I still don’t. But they’re so cool!
