Royal Blue
For the past few weeks, I’ve been pondering how to incorporate royal blue into a theme. E and I mulled it over today and inspiration struck. Royal blues with iridescent grays and blues, with just a touch of red.

Mustard and Eggplant
I wish there were more pictures available for this palette because I have fallen in love with it!

Bottom row: Ceci New York, ABC
This would be perfect for a fall or winter wedding - I love the idea of using deep purple and yellows with a branch-y decor, and perhaps incorporating accents of gold or chocolate. That bouquet is GORGEOUS.

Friday Etsy, Embellished Life Designs
The Friday Etsy is late this week because of vacation. Yay for vacation, boo for being late. Anywho….
Sharon of Embellished Life crochets, knits and felts all sort of goodies. She says:
I love to make luxurious , dreamy items with great details. While crochet is my main medium, I incorporate other fiber arts such as embroidery or felting into my designs. Made with the best of materials and attention to detail, I try to create pieces that will be cherished for a lifetime. I am inspired by autumn and fall colors, textural details from anything, and of course, fashion!
Her prices are great, and shipping is free if you order before the end of the month. Just in time for Christmas shopping (or gift bags for bridesmaids)! I ordered a flower brooch and love love love it.

Labels, Labels, and more Labels
I think I have too much time to plan my vow renewal, because this weekend I spent hours, literally, looking at websites that print labels. For what, you ask? Everything from CDs to water bottles to scarves!
My Own Labels dot com is a website that has a huge list of labels in a variety of designs and colors - and the designs carry throughout all of the different sizes and types, which is so wonderful, as cohesiveness is very important.
I love the Aunt Lorraine design:
They also carry food, beer, and wine labels, as well as favor tags and even matching coasters!

Great bridesmaids gift
I just saw this in a magazine (lifted off a co-worker’s daughter). It’s a justine case by Benefit. I love the idea for an emergency kit.

Michelle Rago
I’m in a floral mood today… reading wedding blogs, you can’t help but read about the amazing talents of Michelle Rago. So today I decided to check out her site. She doesn’t have a huge amount of pictures out there but what is there is amazing.
My personal favorite is the top right bouquet - so unique with the feathers and crystals - would be perfect for a wintry wedding. If you’re in NYC you’re a lucky bride!

Domino Decorating Contest
I’m not very into home decor magazines, but I love using Domino for color palette inspirations. Take a look at the gorgeous home of their recent decorating contest winner, Catherine.

Truthfully, I am not a pastel person, so I wouldn’t really be into this color scheme if it weren’t for that bright raspberry! Who would’ve thought that pairing spring green, powder blue and raspberry could work? I think that Catherine was very smart to also incorporate a baby pink, as seen in this tea set, to make the raspberry not so stark.
Beautiful. Who knows, it just might inspire me to create a board!

Pretty Gocco-ed Things
In honor of my soon-to-be-in-the-mail Gocco, I decided to post the many images of pretty pretty gocco-ed things that I have been collecting.
These invitation sets made by Ugly Kitty and found on the Gocco Flickr group are two examples of why I’m so excited to get mine - printing color on color and printing metallic!
Here’s another reason - printing white!

I am getting a Gocco!
Those of you who have been reading for a while may remember my post on Gocco and how I am/was obsessed with this little machine! Well, today I bought myself my Christmas present and I am getting a Gocco!
I’m so excited I just had to share with you all. :) When it comes I’ll be posting pictures of my handiwork.

Ornamentea
A. sent me this link a while ago and it’s definitely on my “must buy LOADS of stuff from their website” list. I love shops, especially online ones, that sell what I refer to as stuff. Yes, stuff. I am not quite sure how else to describe it. Ornamentea sells ribbon, felt, filigree, glitter, wire, buttons and beads, among many other just plain cool findings.
They have pretty lockets:
