Chair Ideas
I love the look of florals on ceremony and/or reception chairs - it just adds such a touch of class to your decor!

The bottom right is my favorite - probably because I love the gold chiavari chairs!

Classic Brides
I think it’s difficult, as a bride, to select a gown that you’re not going to look back later and regret. 1980s wedding a la Hope Williams Brady anyone?

So who are the brides that have stood the test of time? What did they have in common? And how can you not fall victim to the fashion of your era?
Take a cue from my favorite classic brides from past generations - Jacqueline Bouvier, Grace Kelly, and Elizabeth Taylor:

Rancho Las Lomas
I’m always jealous of California girls and their weddings. First of all, the weather is picture-perfect. Secondly (and speaking of pictures), my favorite photographers in the whole world are based in Southern California. And lastly, it is just a hotbed of event designers, florists, and amazing wedding venues.
Regarding venues, I have one word to say about Rancho Las Lomas in Newport Beach - GORGEOUS.

Friday Etsy, Jenna Lou Designs
The hubby and I are leaving for Honduras on the 27th. We needed passport wallets, and I thought “Um, Etsy.” I searched and found Jenna Lou. While what she is selling didn’t work, I am in LOVE with what she has posted. The fabrics! The seams! I’m going to have to order a wristlet after our trip!

Body Linens
So when E posted about Paris, my mind immediately went to wardrobe. I’m a fashion ignorant girl in general. I’m trying to change that, but it’s a long process. I saw this and immediately loved it. It’s the perfect nightie for those nights in Paris (or Birmingham)!

Yellow
Today I love yellow. The color, not the Coldplay song (which is also great)…

There’s just something about a sunny yellow wedding that is amazing. And so *not* overdone. Fantastic for June and July, but I really love it for an end of summer/very early fall event - like summer’s last hurrah…

Amazing dresses, Amazing prices
You crave a designer gown. But your budget limits you (ain’t that the truth!) and it’s important to allocate your funds appropriately. How is a girl to balance her love of couture with practicality?
Get creative!

Casual Cool
I saw this in the January/February issue of Bridal Guide and thought I would share. Doesn’t she look so cool and confident laying on the lawn? Cardigan can be found here. Dress is from Oscar de la Renta.

The Inn at Palmetto Bluff
While searching for wedding venues in South Carolina for a new bride-to-be, I found The Inn at Palmetto Bluff. The resort is 20 minutes outside of Savannah, and looks like one of the most beautiful places to marry. The perfect place to fulfill the inner southern princess.
The pictures were very hard to extract, so a full photo montage can be found here.
While searching the location on Google Images, I found this post. If you look closely, you might see Ms. Reese Witherspoon as a bridesmaid.

Your Favorite Photographers
This week, I have a question for all of our wonderful readers:
If you could have any photographer in the US shoot your wedding, who would you choose? Money is no object in this perfect world, and neither is travel, so pick anyone, include a link to their site, and let us know why you love them!
I’m gathering research for a new blog feature so your input is greatly appreciated!
