EAD Services
Our observant readers might notice a new link in the navigation sidebar! On a limited basis, Anne and I are now offering wedding-related services.
Our first love is stationery, so naturally we’d love to design your completely custom, handcrafted invitation suite.
We’re available for inspiration design and consulting. Are you a bride who wants to do the planning and execution yourself but needs some help tying things together? Or perhaps you simply want some innovative color combinations, decor ideas, and overall wedding style imagined especially for your event. Then our inspiration design and consulting package is for you! We’ll work closely with you to determine the feel of your event and give you tangible pictures, inspiration boards, and ideas to take to your vendors for them to implement.
As crafty girls at heart, Anne and I offer DIY project guidance and assistance. Want to do custom bridesmaids gifts? Gocco-printed muslin bags to hold favor goodies? Place cards, escort cards, handmade guest books, etched votives, children’s coloring books – you name it, we’ll give you unique DIY project ideas and help you design them or make them!
We’re only able to accept a limited number of events at a time, so please contact us for pricing and availability. And in the meantime, read lots and lots of blogs – it’s amazing how many fantastic ideas that are out there!
In honor of our taking the plunge, we’re offering a free inspiration consultation to one lucky commenter. You have until Saturday night at midnight to comment on this post with your wedding colors (if you’ve decided), type of location (if you know), and wedding date/season. We’ll then choose a random number and that lucky commenter is our guinea pig and will receive all sorts of love and ideas!
We’re excited and hope you are too!

Labor Day weekend
Oh! How fun…great idea!
Black/White/Green (black BM dresses)
Church ceremony and golf course reception, but don’t let that fool you. We are going with a laid back/fun vibe. We are trying not to be too traditional and just want it to be fun – turned out the golf course had the right price :)

This is SO exciting! Pick me! :)
Our wedding colors are pink, green and ivory.
Our location is the Indiana State Museum for the ceremony and reception with the ceremony being outside along our man-made canal in Indianapolis. The state museum is very modern and clean design lines. I want it to be a bit more “garden-y” though and struggling for ideas!
I’m getting married in September 08
Your blog is inspiring enough…but I would love a one-on-one time with you both!
We are getting married in Indianapolis in late September. Our wedding will be taking place in a catholic church in the middle of a cute little neighborhood. The reception will be a couple blocks away from the heart of downtown Indianapolis in a hotel ballroom (hence, I could use the help figuring out just how to dress up a hotel ballroom).
My original colors were black and white with a splash of plum. However, now it has turned to white, plum, and raspberry with a splash of black.
My last little attempt at an inspiration board can be found here:

colors: vivid oranges, gray tones
ceremony+reception venue: Seattle Asian Art Museum (deco, urban, garden and… asian ;) — ceremony at koi pond in front of museum, reception in tents and in the museum’s inner-courtyard. My fiance is not asian (I am) and we DON’T want to have an asian-type theme. We want: modern yet classic, garden yet luxurious… this starting to sound like an “opposites attract” theme!!
date: july 5th, 2008
Jon and I will be married in his home village, Neuchatel, in the French speaking part of switzerland on june 21st. the ceremony will be outdoors on the grass lawn between the shore of the lake and an old manor-turned-hotel. the dinner is in an old home next to a castle. the dinner room has so much extra space (we are 70 guests) we dont know what to do.
food and wine takes 75% of our budget – normal for this country. but that means everything else has to be diy then! we could use the inspiration…and help!
the colors are teal (a bit darker than in your recent board0, white and gold
What an amazing offer!

!!!
Wow! What an opportunity! I hope, I hope, I hope I get picked! :-)
[Colors] Oranges, Browns, and hints of Aqua
[Location] Our ceremony is taking place on a small historic cabin, located on a sloped hill so it will be a standing event. Then right next door to the outdoor ceremony, is a huge open-air, covered, wooden stage where we are holding the reception. All nestled in the Appalachian Mtns of NC.
[Date] October 4, 2008 – Fall of course!
This is a wonderful offer! :)
My fiancee Chris and I are getting married on November 15th this year in downtown Fort Worth at the historic YWCA. It was built in 1927 as an Elks Lodge hotel and has a beautiful “great room” downstairs with a fireplace with a gorgeous ballroom upstairs – plaster ceilings, arched windows, wood floors and all! It has a wonderful Spanish revival architecture, so we’re going with kind of an easy elegance/vintage theme. My colors will be terracottas, salmon-y oranges, champagne, taupes with a background of plum, wine, green, and black.
This is so cool!
Our primary color is chocolate, with touches of ivory, green, pink and possibly pale yellows! The location is a 1920s historic building on the lake, the ceremony will be held outside on the lake. Our wedding date is November 1, 2008!
What an amazing offer! Thank you!
Fall 2009 wedding. Pics of our location is most recent post on my blog. Colors: Greys, Bronze, Plum, Rose, Cream, Rustic Orange, Slate Blue.
Wow, I really hope you ladies choose this number because I need serious inspiration help! I have changed my colors and theme so many times already and it is getting to the point where I need to stick with one and make decisions.
Colors (of the moment)- Green and pink with accents of gold.
Location- The Hall of Springs in Saratoga, NY (a gorgeous greco-Roman building with a ton of history).
Date- August 30, 2008
