Laura from the absolutely FABULOUS Laura Kay Photography sent us this amazing wedding and I’ve been so excited to post it for all of you to see (I adore the little blog universe we all live in, check out the story of how Laura and I found each other {here}) . John and Cassie were married on January 12th ’08 in Houston, TX – and they were lucky to have picture-perfect weather.
Their morning wedding and brunch reception at the Junior League of Houston was highlighted by satisfying and colorful mimosas. And the group portrait taken in front of the 2nd Baptist Chapel (a beautiful venue) is probably my favorite wedding party picture ever. Seriously. The black and white color scheme, combined with beautiful pink flowers and the bright sunlight, make for a stunning photo.
I adore the simplicity of Cassie’s accessories with her beaded gown and the overall style of her event. Splashes of color, such as the pink floral on a gorgeous four layer cake, worked with the easy elegance theme and were perfectly understated for a daytime wedding.
