Green Calligraphy Details

I heart the fabulous Laura Hooper (but you knew that already).  She sent over these gorgeous green details earlier this week.

Couture maps are some of my favorite wedding stationery items and isn’t this one done in a fun green ink?

Grass displays are always elegant.

This invitation utilizes Laura’s calligraphy turned into print!  Isn’t the bow detailing beautiful?  And we already know I’m a sucker for anything boxed and sparkly.

Aqua and lime is such a perfect combination for a beach wedding!  This ink color is just stunning (and there is one of those amazing maps again – you know I couldn’t resist).

Check out the fun detail on this envelope.  I don’t think I’ve ever seen “Kindly Deliver To:” placed on top of the address but I love the vintage messenger-style nature of it.  Makes me think ‘hip Manhattan socialite wedding’.

And last but not least – such cute green backings on those table names.  Love the green striped linens!

Don’t forget everyone, being green isn’t just a color scheme – it also means utilizing independent designers.  Hand calligraphy is such an art and there are so few calligraphers of Laura’s caliber out there.  Utilizing calligraphy in your stationery suite is so unique and special – and as you can see, it’s not strictly limited to addressing envelopes!  Get creative with it.  And check out Laura’s blog for more ideas!
