Real Weddings: Darah + Greg 7.3.07

On July 3, 2007 Darah and Greg tied the knot in the Cathredral of Saints Peter and Paul in Philadelphia.   Darah is so full of life and fun – and their wedding was no exception!   I met Darah while doing another wedding where she was the make up artist.   With all of the hoopla in the city of Liberty and the Declaration of Independence around us, we trolleyed through the streets taking pictures on rooftops, beside fountains, in Elfreth’s Alley and in some very unique locations around the city.  

One photo of Darah in front of a huge sign that said “You are Beautiful” was especially fun.  

Then it was off to Cescaphe Ballroom for a fabulous party with a DJ from the radio and several extra hours of dancing.   Of course, Darah, being a partner of Dollface Studio- a fabulous photography studio here in Philadelphia, has an amazing eye and Siobhan, the other owner, took all the pictures.   You can see more of her wedding on their blog.    Helping Darah with her special day was so much fun.   We went to New York to Kleinfeld’s for the dress, tied ribbons on little bottles of Ketel One for her favors and had special cupcakes made from her favorite bakery for the out of town guests.   It was a blast!
