Out of Town Baskets
It’s a crazy day in the real world everyone!
I’ve been doing some searching for out of town basket photos, because it’s definitely a project I’m going to undertake. These are such a great idea and so easy and inexpensive to DIY. Anne did her own gorgeous baskets for around $2.50 each and they were a hit!
Here are my favorite little baskets that I have found - I love the coordination of the green ribbon with the contents and the simple but elegant presentation.

Also adorable are these two whose contents are placed in tins. Love the decoupaged postcards used on the blue basket!

Inexpensive food packaging is a fantastic option to use for your basket. These utilize gable boxes and even Chinese take-out containers! Don’t forget to add a fun and easy custom label to your finished product.

Mrs. Onion of Weddingbee shows us the contents of her OOTs - hers were also less than $3 per bag. And look at the fun items her guests received! Including the nuts wrapped with twine was a great touch.
Are you preparing any goodies for your OOT guests?

I love the baskets in the first picture. My mom has a friend that owns and operates a gift basket company and she is going to be doing ours for us. We will probably include fun Virginia/southern items since most of our guests will be from the north.
I am also trying to find some pamphlets or fliers about the history of our cathedral to include. I think it would be nice to give guests a sneak peak at the church and a little of the history behind this gorgeous piece of architecture. Plus his entire family are strong catholics so they might really enjoy something like that.
I love that 1st basket…too cute!
are you going to remind traveling guests to have room to take this stuff home?
all this stuff is WAY too cute.
I just wanted to let you know that I’ve posted my first feature on my blog. :] Let me know what you think and/or how I can make the future “features” better! Thanks!
