I spent much of my childhood in a white canopy bed with pink bedding and cabbage rose wallpaper. I then moved to a mauve painted room with a daybed (pink floral accents, of course). After many years of non-pink decor, I’ve finally started enjoying the color again. So much so that we chose it for our wedding last year.
So, I though it perfect to kick off pink week with a board full of classic pale pink goodness. No bubble gum or fuschia here. Just good, non-fussy, comforting pink.

Cherry blossoms are sooo beautiful! And apple blossoms too! It’s almost apple blossom season in Northern Virginia and a BEAUTIFUL place for an outdoor ceremony is the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley… they have some gorgeous outdoor ceremony locations including the Grand Allee which, for a few weeks in the spring, is lined with beautiful pink apple blossoms!
