Pinwheels

I made these this weekend for a baby shower and loved them.

I also made these and didn’t love them so much.

Has anyone made these and actually had it work?  I’m thinking you need WAY more than 8 sheets to make them this full.

Side note, incredibly excited about pink week.

ha! I attempted the poms and it did not go well. I have a blog post about it in my archives - I think in July of last year.

I attempted these as well using the MS instructions and they were very floppy. I did see on the Pearls Events Blog a feature of a bride who used them, found here

and this bride created them in a different way with fabulous results. Here is a link to her intructions

You might have to scroll down a bit. Hope this helps! I am going to try them for a Lingerie Shower coming up soon! ~Jennifer

I made the Martha flowers a few years ago for a store window. I found that making smaller sizes using her instructions had the best results. They came out pretty full. Then I clumped them together in bouquets. You can see some pics here: http://laurabeedesigns.blogspot.com/2006/04/going-to-garden-party.html
