Jessica Lynn’s September Wedding
One of our favorite bloggers, Jessica Lynn from Tying the Knot is in need of some inspiration for her plum, raspberry, and gold wedding in Indianapolis late this summer. Here is her RSVP card as an example of the gorgeous look she’s going for:
So with this palette in mind, and knowing that Jessica was uncertain about adding in the gold, we decided to put together an inspiration board for her focusing on how she can incorporate the gold into her palette.
We see Jessica as a trend-setter bride, slightly bohemian and vintage, and a LOT stylish.

Jessica wanted to infuse a bit of black so we decided to go with some darker undertones - for example in the dark purple flowers. But I absolutely love the gold with the darker colors! I feel like it brightens the palette up and gives it an edgy, less feminine feel.
OK Miss Jessica, what do you think after seeing it?

Wow, these patterns and rich hues are just perfect! The gold is very subtle and warm. Lovely!

well you certainly proved that gold looks good! i think that the gold brings out the richness/ornateness of our monogram and exhudes (big words!) the overall feel that we were going for…and it DOES lighten up the palette a bit! thanks so much ead!!
