Emeralds and Mangoes

Welcome to EAD Weddings! We are so excited to have you here. If you are a new visitor, we'd love for you to subscribe to our RSS feed. Thanks for visiting and we hope you come back soon!

We have a lot of gals in the throes of planning their fall and winter events.  Jewel tones are an always popular choice so for those of you who are slightly offbeat with your palette choices, I thought I would throw this one out there for you - a combination of emerald green and a fresh mango orange.  Bizarre, I know, but look!

Such a twist on the usual fall colors - I think I’m in love!

Where can I find that emerald silk dress in the bottom right corner. I clicked on all of the links, and none led me to it!! AHHHH i love it, great post!

dear brittany,

unfortunately the source of the picture (http://citified.blogspot.com/2008/03/happy-st-patricks-day.html) does not have the maker of the gown, only the photographer and model.

i believe banana republic put out a very similar emerald green gown about 2 years ago - maybe you could try ebay or something similar to find that dress?

sorry i’m not of more help!

You’ve got to love that orange!! I love it with the emerald green. It would be so pretty with gold accents too, since both are rich colors. I think this could make a pretty color combo for summer as well - it could easily go tropical.

Thanks for the shout-out, ladies! You’re awesome. I posted some of my fall-wedding-themed pictures on my page… but now I’m really wishing I had thought of orange and green. Pooh. If only I could do it all again….

Just lovely! I’m hooked on this orange and cool tone inspiration board combinations. I keep waiting for emerald jewelry to become trendy again.

Hadn’t imagined emerald and mango before, but your beautiful collection of images proves it to be a fantastic combination!

Also, in answer to Brittany’s question, the sea-green pleated dress with glass beads is available at Louis Vuitton boutiques for about $4,194 .
