Real Weddings: Lauren + Craig 5.24.08

Continuing our unofficial kickoff of summer we have a gorgeous wedding shot by Rae Leytham and designed by the girls at Bliss Event Group! You know this wedding is bound to be fabulous with that combination at work.
These centerpieces drew me in immediately. How inventive is this? Single flowers in shot glasses and bud vases. This would be incredibly easy to DIY, although Lauren and Craig had the luxury of using the fantastic Wall Flowers for their decor.
Gerbera daisies were everywhere, including in Lauren’s bouquet.
I love all of the simple but whimsical details of this wedding. It was completely cohesive.
The tablecloth for the couple’s table was cross-stitched over 40 years ago by the bride’s grandmother. What a lovely tribute to her and a perfect complement to the event!
Their gorgeous cake was created by Betty Weber. Rae loves it and so do we! Betty is THE cake lady in the Florida Panhandle.
Even though for me, this wedding was all about the details, Rae did manage to take a few smashing photos of the bride and groom!

Thank you for the blog love! This was truly an inside summer garden, just as Lauren, the bride, dreamed. Everyone involved did an amazing job and Lauren is going to be thrilled to see this upon her return from San Fran.
It was such a pleasure working on this Summer fete. Lauren and Craig were not concerned about all the little things and let us take the wheel in a big way. Their focus was on one another and I believe that’s what truly makes any wedding a success.
