Neutral Orange

We get lots of emails from brides who are eager to use orange in their color scheme.  I absolutely love the color and think it’s a perfect complement to so many palettes!  This take on orange has it almost taking on the properties of a neutral color, and is slightly rustic and whimsical.  Inspired by the bride and groom top center via Nibs.

Are you using orange in your event?  In what mood or context will it appear?

Okay, you know I’m using orange at my wedding!! ;-)

I’m using it more like this - a little softer than a bold statement. I want it to be warm and “glow”, but also not as intense as red. I like that orange is a happy color (at least to me) and really can go with many different looks, themes, and colors!

oh my god…where are the lanterns from?? I love the butterflies on the lights!

I am using orange in my wedding, especially since its on October wedding. I want to use orange, pink, green, brown & ivory:)

Lovin’ all your info. on weddings! So helpful and inspiring!

cheers,

I love this! I was struggling with the same problem. I would love to use orange but in a less “tropicana” way — if that makes any sense! I love the combination of the soft orange with pink too…just to get a bigger range of colours in the floral arrangements.
Great site! I can’t believe it took me this long to find it!
