Branding: Sight, Part 2

Up next….colors decor and food.
So now that I’ve chosen my overall logo and venue. On to colors!
I really like the burgundy and mint of the chosen logo. It’s fresh and clean, and I love me some mint. I think I’ll stick with them because they fit so well. Easy peasy (so not like the real process, right brides?!)
On to the good stuff, decor! I really want the wedding to be fresh and classic.

We’re on the right track, but I think it’s too “branchy” or natural for what I want.
Ok, now this is just right. The linens are clean without being stark white. The lighting is a little too modern, but this is a good start. I’m in love! We have a basic decor to work with!

Finally, the food. I’m going to hold off making any major decisions. I do know I want to keep the menu all american and simple. I want a cocktail hour with passed appetizers, a plated dinner, individual desserts for each table and a midnight snack buffet. For display purposes, I’ll really only need to worry about the midnight buffet. We’ll come back to this later.
More to come tomorrow…

It is disgusting how easy you are making wedding planning seem right now. This is the reason why That Groom thinks that wedding could be planned in a day.
I like the midnight snack buffet idea! We are headed down to FL to meet with caterers in a couple weeks, and I am in the same boat, I know the kind of food I want, but there is so much I like, I can’t make a decision!
