Real Weddings: Ellen + Caro 5.3.2008

Welcome to EAD Weddings! We are so excited to have you here. If you are a new visitor, we'd love for you to subscribe to our RSS feed. Thanks for visiting and we hope you come back soon!

Ellen and Caro were married at one of my favorite venues, the Viceroy in Palm Springs, and if that weren’t enough, they had the positively drool-worthy Next Exit Photography there to capture the day.  The Viceroy is black and white and yellow all over and so was this wedding!

Check out our stylish couple:

yellow bride and groom

Ellen looks amazing in her yellow Jenny Yoo gown and chic black chandelier earrings.

And naturally, yellow Prada shoes completed her look.

Caro’s look was all about modernity and subtlety.  My favorite detail of the day has to be the silver wire on his boutonniere, crafted by the exquisite Artisan Events.

Pilot the pup was a big part of the day - look how well he’s doing his part, prancing down the aisle (I love pets in weddings - LOVE it)!

Yellow and white petals lined the aisle and are a great ceremony detail - all of the brides planning outdoor events should take note; this is an easy way to minimize decor while still adding color.

Gorgeous pool-side photos - the love that Ellen and Caro share truly comes out in these stolen moments.

The reception was all about style:

Whimsy:

And a whole lot of fun:

Last but not least, my New Favorite. Wedding. Photo. EVER.

That last picture is fantastic! They’re all great, but the last one is too funny

i love that last picture. it looks so stately and timeless. you could put any couple from any era in that picture and not lose the style. this couple, though, is gorgeous! and the dog’s brown coat is the perfect addition to the colors!
