This week in blogging:

  • Grooms are blogging! Read The Engaged Guy, I Groomzilla, You Bride, and The Reluctant Groomzilla for hilarious takes on the groom’s point of view…
  • I love these Jen Murphy cake toppers as seen on Thoughtful Day
  • And these papier mache cake toppers by Middleburg as seen on East Side Bride
  • Carolyn and Todd’s wedding, as captured by Evoke Photography, was stunning - lovin’ the details, especially Carolyn’s bouquet and the bridesmaids’ dresses…
  • Feterie’s online shop has opened - celebrate by using the code LIST15 for 15% off of their fabulous gift wrap, note cards, and all of the other luscious goodies until 8-30-2008…
  • For our South African readers - a great new blog for you, Your Dream Day. And via Your Dream Day, I found Dror Eyal’s blog and spent a long time poring thru his work, which is lovely…
  • Any of these vintage mailboxes seen at Poppytalk would be wonderfully utilized as a card box…
  • Tara at In This Instance is thisclose to her wedding day! Make sure to blog stalk her as she makes her final preparations…
  • Last but not least, this week brings a surprise to EAD. But you’ll just have to wait for that!

Any other links you’re reading that we should check out?

I LOVE THOSE DRESSES! I need to know where they came from, STAT. They’re ridiculous!

Love the groom blogging sites! Sometimes those guys have the best stories. Word of caution to the South African readers, since you mentioned Dror Eyal - I would very much NOT recommend him. I know of more brides than myself that have been treated badly and unprofessionally by him, including not showing up at meeting places, refusing to return multiple e-mails and phonecalls, and so on. Sorry to be a downer, but no wedding vendor has ever treated me as rudely as he did, so I had to say it!
