my sister cut out flowers from a cherry blossom design we found in a chinese paper cutting book. we used shimmering purple and green paper found at a local arts/crafts store, which end up being our color theme. for the card part, we used stardream opal covers available at papersource.com. our invitations received rave reviews! the only problem was, by the end of assembling 70 invitations (1 per family), my sister called it quits and vowed to never hand make a card again.
