Unique Favors

Long gone are the days of little foil-wrapped chocolates in a mesh bag as favors for your guests. Your favors should be as unique as you and your honey. Do you spend the weekends golfing together, or maybe you met in business school? Here are a few ways to personalize sweet treats or ideas for gifts your guests will use and appreciate.

What type of favors are you having at your event? Are they something special to you as a couple?

Argh we cannot decide on favors– and we have just 6 weeks to go!
Any ideas for us? We are high school sweethearts having a vintage-inspired country club wedding at a club started by General Electric employees…. there is a sort of underlying ‘photo’ theme. And we haven’t come up with any favor ideas that we love, within our budget of about $1 per person.

any direct link to the personlized calculator? i scoured the Bliss site and didn’t see it. however, i can be blind at times and could be looking right at it.

I really like those calculators too! I couldn’t find them on the Bliss site but I did find something similar which you can order personalized tags with: http://trulyweddingfavors.com/products/heart-shaped-calculator
I also found this frame/coaster which would go with your “photo” theme well: http://trulyweddingfavors.com/products/good-wishes-pearlized-frame

Joanne, the calculators were a favor we used for a couple that met in CPA school. They were ordered through an office supply site and customized with their name and wedding date.

Glad you like them!

Any ideas for a couple that met in medical school? Also, we both speak Spanish and have lived in Latin America. I’d like to tie in one of those themes, if possible. Thanks!

Ann, how about a personalized first aid kit or bandaids with your monogram printed on them as favors for your guests? This would be a fun way to tie in your medical school backgrounds.
