Great post! Vintage is in for next year – even with flowers. Muted and antique colored roses are a budget friendly option. Flowers that you might find in your garden like peonies, garden roses, hellebores, zinnias, dahlias, and cosmos – anything that is scented, unique, ruffled or delicate – are also perfect for creating a vintage feeling. Antique fabrics, dupioni silk ribbon, buttons and brooches extend the vintage style into the stem wrap of a bouquet. And antique food tins, mason jars, old wooden fruit crates and even rusted planters filled with flowers or fruit can be to carry the vintage theme throughout the table décor.

I almost wore my grandmothers wedding dress! I think it is such a beautiful thing when the whole family history is celebrated, because that is so much of what a marriage is. Not just two people coming together, but two families, two heritages.
