Real Weddings: Alex + Rachel

We are so thrilled to showcase images from a new photographer to EAD, Terra Tabbytosavit. Alex and Rachel were married at the beautiful Asilomar retreat in Monterey, CA on New Years Eve 2007.
Everything about this wedding was so emotional, and made even more special by the contributions of friends and family - Rachel’s shrug worn over her Nicole MIller gown was hand-knit by one of her good friends…
And her amazing bouquet was put together by a friend of her mother!
Love Love LOVE Alex’s ensemble. The tie, the vest, the boutonniere, everything!
Rachel’s handmade invitations reflected the skyline of the trees at Asilomar, making the photos in front of those same trees very special!
The evening ceremony was held in candlelight, accompanied by the music of a bagpiper and violinist who are friends of the couple.

More amazing personal touches - the “Welcome” sign was created by the Groom’s family, as was the gorgeous cake display, which was a surprise to the couple!
The guests definitely had fun in the photo booth!

The personal touches and the little things are what make weddings special. Alex and Rachel were so blessed to have friends and family that participated in their event and we are sure it will be something they will never forget.

Mmm. Love the shrug, love the dress, love the fiddler, love all the friend and family involvement, love that it was new years eve (makes me want to chuck it all and have a new years eve wedding).
