Real Weddings: Emily + Eli

We feature a lot of real weddings here on EAD, and we focus a lot on the details of what makes them special. But it’s also important to focus on the marriage. Emily and Eli’s intimate Sedona wedding does just that, and we are so thankful to Andrew from Sedona Bride for sharing this wedding with us!
Sedona offers gorgeous views and a stunning, peaceful place for a ceremony. JB of Sedona Luxury Weddings took care of all of the details.
In attendance were the bride and groom’s parents as well as the bride’s brother.
Clearly it was a tender moment - I love the various displays of emotion here: brother crying, mothers laughing, father trying to hold in the tears…
Each parent read a letter that they had written to their children during the ceremony.
And now the incredible scenery of Sedona shines through, as does the love between Emily and Eli.
Sigh.
Transportation for the day = PINK JEEPS!
And dinner at the Heartline Cafe to top off the evening.

Sarah, this wedding took place at the amazing Merry-Go-Round, which is at the top of Schnebly Hill Road. the roads are so bad you need a 4×4 to get there, hence the pink jeeps. all around this promontory are sheer-faced cliffs, so watch where you walk! :)

What a dream! Sedona is where I hope to get married. It’s so beautiful there, and there’s something peaceful and pure about the atmosphere.
A-FREAKIN-MAZING! this is such a personal and private wedding, just perfect. Makes us remember what its all about….
This is awesome! Emily and I actually went to high school together and I had seen her wedding photos before. What a fun surprise to see them here!
Thanks everyone! Our wedding was magical. It was such a fun drama-free day, and Eli and I still tear-up when we look at the pictures. We can’t thank Katrina and Andrew enough for doing such an amazing job capturing the love and warmth on film.
