My Invitations!

Welcome to EAD Weddings! We are so excited to have you here. If you are a new visitor, we'd love for you to subscribe to our RSS feed. Thanks for visiting and we hope you come back soon!

Today’s an exciting day! All of my guests have received all of the vow renewal info so I can finally share with all of you!!! First up, the invitations!

The envelopes were lovingly hand-addressed by the amazing Laura Hooper and the look was completed by vintage stamps, purchased via ebay (some are more vintage than others!).

The stamps were (mostly) selected carefully.  There were several baseball stamps - if you’ll recall, our Welcome Party is at Turner Field.

The finished invitation - 6×8, engraved on 700 gsm natural white card.  The edges were beveled and gilded in gold.  The little flourish appeared on our Save the Dates and will be around at the vow renewal.  :)  The details forthcoming in the bottom left corner let guests know that the invitation would have a follow-up mailing, which you’ll see later today!

The inner envelope with more gorgeous Laura calligraphy.  I can’t get enough of her!

Later today, the “details forthcoming”!

How brave of Christian to be okay with the internets knowing their whereabouts. :)

It is a completely fake person and address written by Laura so I didn’t have to blur any of the awesome calligraphy! :)

I am in love with these!!! The calligraphy, the paper, the stamps! Everything is great. I used vintage LOVE stamps on my RSVP postcards and that was one of the favorite things about my wedding!

[...] In the hopes of heading off the holiday five, I’ve started a new running program.  My goal?  Looking fabulous for E’s vow renewal! [...]
