DIY Entry #26: Telegram Programs

Another amazing project from Amanda – telegram programs!

Amanda says:

I found this telegram template a while ago when randomly browsing the internet. Since we were having an Art Deco wedding at a building from the 1930’s, having vintage telegram ceremony programs would set the tone for the rest of the evening.

1. Download the template here
2. Open the file in Photoshop
3. Type your ceremony program using a vintage typewriter font
4. Print them on yellow cardstock

Amanda then sealed the envelopes using a sticker with their names and decorated the front with vintage telegram elements. Gorgeous!

  1. ooh, I love this! I’m fascinated by any invitation, program or the likes, that can imitate a real paper product (like those cute library card save the dates, or this telegram program)!

…and you gotta love it because it’s from MI. :)

I love this idea too! Can you e-mail me a link to download the template? It doesn’t seem to work when I try to click on it. Thanks!

If you want to send retro-cool telegrams but can’t be bothered doing it yourself like here, we used Telegram Stop at to do a bulk mail out of save the date telegrams for us – pretty cheap and as this blogger alludes to pretty novel to get one. Friends loved it!
