Stationery Details

After successfully completing our wedding invitations, I knew that I could do the remainder of the wedding stationery myself. I designed, printed, and assembled the rest of our wedding stationery using the same process as I did with our invitations. I created ceremony programs, menus, escort cards, place cards, table signs, table numbers, stickers, out of town boxes, and our rehearsal dinner invitations.

Here are some detail shots of our DIY stationery:

Ceremony Programs. The program quote said, “My greatest good fortune in a life of brilliant experiences has been to find you and lead my life with you.”

Escort Cards

Both David and I LOVE Peanuts comics and we wanted to incorporate that into our wedding in some way. We ultimately decided that the table numbers and escort sign would be perfect for this! We found pictures of our favorite Peanuts memories, placed them in a table in Microsoft Word along with the corresponding table number, and printed them the same way as the rest of the stationery.

The escort card sign said, “Ever since David was a little boy, he has loved Peanuts comics and Snoopy in particular. Now, we both love this famous comic and the small life lessons included in each strip. The table numbers represent some of our favorite Peanuts memories. We hope that these comics bring a smile to your face and remind you of the great things that can be learned from a boy and his dog.”

Menus

To create the out of town boxes, I ordered extra large gable boxes from US Box. To add some color on the inside I added orange, pink, and mango colored paper shred from Nashville Wraps. Each box was filled with water, snacks, sweets, and a “Dallas Visitor’s Guide” which illustrated different Dallas restaurants and attractions that have importance to David and me.

I wanted to carry the vibrant color theme and wedding date through to all aspects of the wedding, so I also volunteered to make our rehearsal dinner invitations. We held our rehearsal dinner at a local Tex-Mex restaurant and I incorporated that into our rehearsal dinner invitations.
