Mani Pedi Party Invites
Welcome to the EAD Weddings blog! We are so excited to have you here. If you are a new visitor, we'd love for you to subscribe to our RSS feed and visit our sister site, EAD Living. Thanks for visiting and we hope you come back soon!
One of the fun activities I have planned for our vow renewal is a mani pedi party. I created invitations for the event using some Laura Hooper fairy dust and a little elbow grease. This has by far been one of my favorite projects because - a) it was fun to do something completely not in “theme” and b) they were easy and I think they turned out so cute!

Laura did a fantastic job drawing the adorable girl on the invitation. I then used Photoshop to color her in and create the text. Some Paper Source cardstock and scallop cards finished it off!

I used Zazzle to create custom stamps with the nail polish from Laura’s drawing. I am a little hooked on custom stamps - after using them, it’s just so hard to go back to something from the USPS site! And to finish it off, Laura rocked her funky Ella script in white ink.

I’m so looking forward to spending some quality time with my girlfriends before the big day!

That’s just plain adorable. I lurve it! Laura has mad skillz but you have mad vision!
That’s darling! I have a question about logistics of the party. Now that we’re back on for our renewal, I was thinking about doing something like this, but not sure how it would work. Are you paying for everybody like people would if it was a bm’s thing or are you just inviting everybody and making it know they’ll need to pay? BTW, Blue MedSpa or Blu Medispa is great in ATL!
@kate - we are not paying for everyone, i just made it be known by putting “for services and prices please visit http://www.____.com” on the invite. and thanks for the heads up - i’m v. excited about where we chose!

I love these! The idea of the party in general is fabulous, but the invites are so fun and exciting…I would die with happiness if I got one of these from a girlfriend! I am actually loving the scalloped edge card and am now wondering if I can work this into my fabulous save the date idea that has been playing around in my head for months now.
I have to say, they are even cuter in person! And the matching stamp was my favorite little touch on these. Perfect!
I think everyone at the party should attempt to pose just like this in imitation of the illustration. Makes me so happy to see it hanging on my fridge.
