What better things do fish have to do than swim around all day anyway? The best thing to do is invite guests to take the fish home. If you are unsure of how your guests will treat the fish then maybe you should reconsider your guest list. I am sure that the fish get fed prior to the wedding and will be "happy" in their new homes with your guests. Seriously, aren't there bigger things in this life to worry about and stand up for, such as abused children and homelessness, than how goldfish feel? I think this is a beautiful idea especially if you want a less formal feel to your wedding and something a bit different than flowers. I am considering it for my own wedding. :o) How is this cruel?
