Real Weddings: Laurel + Darren, Part II

As I said earlier today, I completely flipped for the details in Laurel and Darren’s gorgeous Seattle wedding.  Their amazing photographer, Michèle M. Waite, captured everything so beautifully, and the details were engineered by Steven Moore Designs.

The reception, held at Seattle’s Arctic Club Hotel, featured this gorgeously romantic cake buffet.  Not only do I love the small cakes themselves, but I also adore the crystal cake stands and accompanying floral arrangements.

As for the tables themselves, each one held a unique centerpiece.  The variety added so much character to the wedding!

The winter-inspired decor included crystal branch centerpieces and faux snow on the tables.

This floating candle centerpiece is one of my personal favorites – budget-friendly and completely DIY-able!  The table numbers are classic and simple to match the elegant feel of the event.

The couple had signature drinks: “Something New” and “Something Blue”!

Chinese take-out boxes and chopsticks invited guests to take home leftovers!

As always, I leave you with my favorite portrait – completely utterly… amazing.  There’s a rainbow people!  Brides dream of portraits like this.

I love the cake buffet! Cupcakes and layered cakes… I’m happy! :)

  2. I am trying to use the crystal-branch/hanging votive centerpiece as inspiration for my centerpieces – I LOVE THEM! Is there a way to contact the bride and find out where she (or the florist) purchased the branches and most importantly, the hanging tealight holders? Thanks!!

  3. I love the cenrepiece of the branches and floating candles! I live in Toronto and I’m getting married this coming Februaury. I was just wondering where I could buy those branches and hanging tealights????????? Please help!

  4. Has anyone received a response to where you can find these branches and tealight holders?
