Hi Beck - I used a 3" h x 2.5" w stamp, but that's the largest size that I would recommend. Anything between 2 - 3" in height and 2 - 2.5" in width should work for a standard postcard.

Regarding the vintage postcard-what size and kind of rubber stamp did you order for the back? I have vintage hawaii postcards that I am using for our destination wedding.

JTG - Sure, you could definitely use Photoshop or Illustrator or another editing program. I chose to use a custom stamp for my own wedding Save the Dates since I liked the handmade effect that we got by using the stamp. For those who either can't afford to purchase programs like Photoshop or don't feel comfortable using them, custom stamps are an inexpensive way of achieving the same effect.

Regarding the super-neat postcard idea, why purchase a rubber stamp when with a bit of careful planning you can use Photoshop and a printer to print directly on the back of the postcards?
