Many thanks for featuring my peony hair clip on your inspiration board! In the past year, I've received an increasing demand from brides for my silk flower clips...magnolia blossoms and orchids in particular. I am always deeply honored when a bride calls on me to create a hair embellishment for her special day!

Hey everyone! Thanks for submitting. Ok, here's how this is going to work: the first 3 readers' boards will be posted tomorrow as promised. I'll do as many as I can for Sunday, and then the rest won't show up until around March 27th or 28th.

Again, thanks everyone. Amazing creativity going on in everyone's palettes and themes!

Just in case you are feeling like doing one more... we're getting married in September 09 at a bird sanctuary outside Washington DC. The ceremony will be outside under some trees and the reception at the 1920s mansion in the grounds. For colours I was thinking a warm plum or eggplant colour, with a champagney gold. I'm British so there will be lots of wedding hats on the female guests! My dress is a lace mermaid shape (Cassie by the French designer Cymbeline) and I love all things vintage. I'll be DIYing the centerpieces with my mum, using candles, creamy white flowers and fruit - I am obsessed with fruit and could survive on pomegranates for weeks on end.

Thanks Briana!! Our wedding is in August of this year & our colors are black & white (more like a very light silver really) with deep, rich red accent. We'd like an old Hollywood glamor feel to the reception. Maybe rat pack cocktail party kinda thing.
The venue isn't quite booked but it looks like it will be a bar/club/restaurant with a bit of a Moroccan feel. Dark woods, dark red upholstery & candles everywhere. We don't want anything too formal or traditional but it must be fun. I love old 40's & 50's pin-up are (Gil Elvgren is my fav). The 2 of us share a love of 80's rock (total closet rockers) & we are huge hockey fans. That should be easy to incorporate right? ;)

I am planning a wedding for July 2010. I'd love to use the colors my mother used in her wedding (pink and gray) but in an updated, rustic way. Any help would be appreciated!

Briana, another plea for an inspiration board!!! December wedding, formal and elegant, black/white or champagne flocked damask with dark red/crimson, green (bright or subtle?) and crystal as accents. Struggling with the use of gold/silver/black chairs. Don't want to be too "Christmas". And as far as elegant and formal, our Southern roots grew in Alabama Crimson Tide football soil, so we have to recognize that...luckily the team colors are crimson/white/black. We've found a bakery that does the "houndstooth" grooms cake!
We would love your help!

Briana, this is so sweet of you! If you happen to have time one more tiny inspiration board, I really need one too. I am in a bit of an inspiration drought. My colors are mustard yellow and powder blue. We are having a mixed cultural wedding (Persian/Russian). I have had the hardest time finding cultural design inspirations.
