What do you get when you combine the fantastic photography of Our Labor of Love with a gorgeous Atlanta reception venue, out-of-this-world DIY decor details, and the fabulous Ashley Baber pulling it all together? Why, perfection of course!
Meet Ellie and Dave:

Their color palette of soft green, brown, gold and cream is so timeless! It’s perfect for any season, too. And as much as I love the colored shoe trend, a pair of gold Manolos will always make me sigh.

Didn’t Ellie have just the cutest set of bridesmaids? The beautiful brown strapless gowns are made by Olive and were purchased at Atlanta’s Paisley Umbrella.

The time with your girlfriends before the wedding is something to be treasured. What strikes me about these photos is that Ellie looks SO happy, radiant and relaxed. Every bride should have that feeling just before their wedding!

Detail of Ellie’s stunning bouquet, created by Atlanta floral geniuses Mark and Scott.

Dave’s groomsmen definitely wanted to one-up the ladies. :)
The ceremony was held at Atlanta’s Northside United Methodist Church.
I can’t put into words how much I adore this photo – these little moments are why it’s so key to have talented photographers capturing your event. The pure joy that Ellie and Dave were feeling at that moment is truly expressed in this image.
Ellie and Dave’s reception was held at Atlanta’s Foundry at Puritan Mill, which is a truly blank slate and is perfect for a brown, green, gold, and cream color scheme. Ellie and Dave were so creative with their decor and really transformed the room into a unique and special place, and it was captured beautifully by Whitney and Jesse.
Ellie’s father owns a furniture showroom and was able to provide all of the decor and lounge furniture that was brought into the space, including the lanterns that hung from the ceiling, the large containers of branches, and the wooden furniture.
Curtains are perfect for separating large spaces into smaller, more intimate, areas.
OLOL captured some stellar portraits of Ellie and Dave around the venue:
These photos really help you to see the beautiful openness that is Puritan Mill. If you love loft-style weddings or really want a clean empty space, this is the type of venue that is for you.
I love the classic white cake, from Classic Cheesecakes and Cakes, decorated with small branches and flowers in all shades of green!
Favors were were screen-printed bags containing honey.
And oh yes, there was a party going on! Papa Sol provided the entertainment for the evening.
Sparklers and a classic car – can’t get much cooler of an exit than that!

Wow, what a beautiful wedding! That venue space looks amazing. I bought my bridesmaid dress from Olive at Paisley Umbrella as well and I wouldn’t recommend them. Several of us had to send our dresses back more than once because of bad craftsmanship.
