The fantastic Ellie from the Mint Design blog brings us these adorable DIY birdseed toss packets (with downloadable tag too!).

Perfect as is, or you could translate this into so many other ideas – lavendar in muslin bags to make sachets, or perhaps dry ingredients for your favorite bakery item in small packets as favors?

I love this idea!
I also saw something similar on Martha Stewart Weddings. She had white containers with orange tulle wrapped around it with birdseed. They were placed on chairs at a ceremony! Cute eh?

I LOVE this idea. My wedding theme is going to be “Nests & Nuptials” and design of the template is exactly what I was looking for. However, we want the birdseed thrown after the reception. Is there anyway I can change ceremony to reception on the template?

hi nicole! i just looked at the template on mint – you should be able to use acrobat pro to edit the template.
