Real Weddings: Polly + Dave

Polly and Dave are such an adorable couple with a very creative theme for their Tiverton, Rhode Island wedding.  1000 handmade origami cranes decorated every aspect of their celebration, photographed by the ultra-talented Gwyneth Colleen!

The ceremony and reception were held at the Tiverton Meeting House.  I love these photos because Polly and Dave look SO in love!

Polly’s red flats matched up perfectly with Dave’s striped socks.

Each table was decorated with a specific type of origami paper.  The escort cards utilized that paper as well and guests found their tables by matching them up.

Having 1000 cranes is good luck, and they were definitely a labor of love for the couple and their nearest and dearest.  Just check out the awesomeness of these chandeliers filled with origami cranes:

The gluten-free cake was made for Polly and Dave’s wedding by a friend.

Favors were personalized mugs which included a few cranes for the guests to keep as souvenirs.

Polly and Dave received a special present at the reception - a serenade!
