		<description>I want really simple and inexpensive, maybe with a cake topper. I saw a cute cake in a local bakery for $37, just buttercream with white chocolate shavings and I might go with something like that. My only problem is whether or not I have them stacked. I have a former baker coming and I think she could set up maybe? We&#039;ll see. But yeah, cake is low on my list as well.</description>

		<description>There&#039;s a local (to me) cake baker that does clay flowers, too.  

She bakes cakes, all from scratch using natural ingredients.  Her business is called &quot;Dolci Fiori&quot; or &quot;Dolce Fiori&quot; (not sure of the spelling), but she&#039;s near me in Elginburg.  In fact, I&#039;ll drive by her place on the way to the wedding ceremony location.  

I could make a cross-border cake crossing on your wedding day if you like!</description>

		<description>Not sure where you&#039;re located, but we&#039;re having cupcakes done by Publix, and they priced them at less than $1 a piece, even with fancy fillings and such.  Pretty hard to beat.  I do love the cake buffet idea also though, lovely and tasty!</description>

		<description>we were not big on the cake thing either(nice to see i was not alone in that boat!).  since our wedding food was all sort of a gourmet version of our favorite comfort foods, our caterer made miniature versions of root beer floats, tiny mocha mousse (with mini choc. donut on rim), and shot glasses w/a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a teeny warm choc.chip cookie...gracious, i was one happy bride.  did i mention they also set up a s&#039;mores bar for us?!!  run with whatever strikes you fancy &amp; have fun! :)</description>

		<description>How much does the average wedding cake (in the city) cost nowadays?  I have to admit, I&#039;m 6 months from my date and I have no idea how much cakes go for.  I guess I haven&#039;t gotten that far into my planning, oops!  That being said, the cake is one of the top things I care about (besides the actual getting married part!) so I will definitely have a cake.

My friends are having a July wedding in Santa Barbara and they opted out of the cake by having an ice cream bar with all the fixin&#039;s instead.  It should be delicous, fun, and practical, especially in the summer heat!  Just an idea for you to consider.  Let us know what you decide!</description>
