Jessica and Jeff’s Engagement Connection Session in Chicago

E. referred me to the wonderful Jessica and Jeff when they were in search of a photographer for their Chicago wedding. However, a few months into the process, they decided to move their event to Minneapolis, in hopes of it feeling more like them, and I was fortunate to be free and able to take the trip with them. Jessica and Jeff are very much a Chicago couple, taking advantage of all the things the city has to offer. Living on the North Side, they spend many afternoons at the Lincoln Park Zoo. Although it was a bit of a gray day and most of the animals were inside by the time we arrived, we were still able to shoot in a place that held meaning to them, although my favourite photographs ended up being in the grass.

They are such a wonderful couple, and I cannot wait to share images from their beautiful wedding in Minnesota.
