Hi Emma,

Perhaps I should have been more explicit in the post, but my thought about fabric was really rather simple - invitations could be printed onto vintage fabrics (using either upcycled or repurposed fabrics or printed onto vintage handkerchiefs), printed onto cotton or organic fabrics, or printed onto fabric swatches that otherwise would have gone to waste. I don't think there was anything in the post that implied that using a non-paper material for invitations would automatically make it eco-friendly, but it was certainly not my intent to give that impression.

Thanks for your comment,

These are all adorable! I'm not sure that I understand how printing on fabric is eco-friendly though... yes if it is reclaimed from a thrift store or something, but really I don't see how regular fabric can ever be as environmentally friendly as paper... I am all for environmental awareness, but just because something is beautiful and not made from paper, doesn't make it eco-friendly!
