I had three separate cakes--at three different heights. What I did was went to Goodwill and found all sizes of glass platters. I then found glass candle stick holders and used clear adhesive glue and put them together! I then ended up with unique and CLASSY cake stands...all for about $3-$4 EACH! I got married almost 2 years ago, but somehow find myself very enthralled with wedding details, still. :)

Paint the wood and line the edges of base with ribbon that matches your theme...
