I had to laugh when I saw the picture of the Angel, because directly behind it is the scaffolding that my SIL built for recent repairs to St Mary's. We did the 'Engaged Encounter' weekend for Pre-Cana [in California] and it was great meeting more Catholic couples with weddings approaching and hearing from more Catholic married couples. We also got married in a Catholic Church in Chicago. As you already know, the beauty of the Churches is amazing- and makes for some of the most lovely pictures. And our guests really enjoyed the ceremony and mass a lot. They still talk about it.
