I'm also an artist and have a huge love for photography. With that in mind, I knew I would spend most of my budget (and then some) on photography for our wedding. Photographs are very important to me. They capture the little moments and details that often get forgotten over the years. I want to be able to remember as much of our wedding as possible. And with a good photographer on my side that is possible! So naturally, when I got engaged I knew that I wanted a photographer with a similar vision to my own. I fell in love with my photographer's work when I first started browsing wedding photographers but figured I could never afford her. Then, several weeks ago I went on a serious search and met with seven different photographers. I was not too excited about the ones I could afford so I decided I had nothing to lose and contacted my number one choice. I was right, her regular prices were way over my budget but she was willing to work with me and made me an offer I could not refuse. (I think she took pity on me when she realized just how important photography is to me and how much I loved her work : ) I will have my dream photographer afterall. And I do check her blog religiously, at least once a week! I am an artist and photography has always been very important to me.
