Have I lost my mind?

I’m pretty sure the answer is yes. But, if anyone wants to make me feel better about all of the projects I’m thinking of attempting in the next four months feel free… My next 4 months in a photo to-do list:

(design/order invitations)

(teapot centerpieces. image from Rachel Ray via EAD!)

fabric

fabric-photobooth

(order fabric for reception photos backdrop/ images from LSFabrics.com and Martha Stewart Weddings)

button-place-cards

(make buttons for guests/image from weddingbee)

earrings

(figure out wedding jewelry/ Fay Cullen)

birdcage-veil

(make a birdcage veil/image from weddingbee)

Not to mention figuring out ceremony and reception music (and we should probably take some dance lessons since our first dance will be a waltz and my response to the word “waltz” right now would probably be “walt’s disney world?” ha). I’m so envious of this wedding, where an engagement party turned wedding by surprise. I would do that for sure if I didn’t have deposits out and wasn’t waiting till late july to get my dress back. Plus, I know October will be gorgeous and wonderful and I won’t sweat to death (fingers crossed). I need a personal trainer to help me out with all these tasks! I wish my girls lived closer!

Anyone else feel overwhelmed yet?

we heart your comments!
  1. Are you going to MAKE the buttons for your guests? I am impressed!! My To-Do list is 6 pages long now. :-(

  2. My wedding is in October too and I’m totally right there with you on freaking out….so many things to do, so little time. I’m thinking of doing a photo booth too with the fabric as a backdrop and a polaroid on a tripod- so cute!

  3. My wedding is in mid-September. I’m not freaking out…yet. But I feel like I have a lot of un-checked items on my to-do list.
I, too, am very jealous of that surprise wedding. If I had come across that idea right when I got engaged, I think I would have figured out a way to make that work. That idea could take away so many things that make wedding planning stressful!

  4. My wedding is in December and my June to do list is 2 pages long… overall.. I am up to 5 pages. Those 2 in June are handwritten, but the 5 is excel spreadsheet.

Jonathon repeatedly tells me to breathe. It’ll be okay. It will get done.

    Will it?!

    I’m with you!

Just 80 days until our wedding day! You can only imagine the length of my to do list right now! Nick continuously tells me to just breathe, too.
