Your mom has an amazing figure! That dress looks great, and I’m sure the family won’t mind as long as you don’t make it a painful trek to get dresses. From what I’ve experienced, the families want to help the bride out as much as possible.

Your mom is really cute. I’m not sure how to deal with the B-word. Actually, yes I do. I have DJ play bad cop when necessary, except where my family/friends are concerned. He’s better at being assertive and willing to take the hit for me. No one has called him a bridezilla yet. :D

I was talking to my wedding planner this weekend about the dreaded "bridezilla" label and she pointed out that being assertive and saying what you want does not make you a bridezilla. What DOES is when you are throwing fits and making demands that cross the line into unreasonable. It's one thing to ask for something, it's quite another to demand something unreasonable.
