Things I Like: Ribbons

Ribbon is pretty. Since lots of ribbon is even prettier, I think weddings that use long, colorful, flowy ribbons hanging from trees, chairs, lights, and so on, are just fabulous. I am really liking how they are used in the photos below and love how I can almost feel the breeze just by the way the ribbons look like they’re playing.

What do you think, do they remind you of…Medieval Times? Rhythmic Gymnastics? Or do you like them?
Ribbon is the perfect way to compliment the style of an event. I love all of these ribbon designs, especially the beautiful green ribbons tied on the backs of the chairs. Plus ribbon is super versatile since it comes in any color, width and length you need in order to match your wedding colors. Great post…very inspirational!

These are absolutley gorgeous! I love the romantic vibe that ribbon lends to any occasion, you know? If you tie a ribbon in your hair you automatically feel girlier somehow. The ribbons blowing from the trees in the above pics are just positively dreamy, thanks for posting!!

They do not make me think of rhythmic gymnastics or medieval times, they just make me happy.

Glad to hear it isn’t bringing about any bad memories of gymnastics coaches, but I’m sure SOMEONE out there has to have an uncle or cousin that would just look hilarious running down the aisle with gymnastics ribbons…just sayin, anything to incorporate wedding colors, right? :)
