Library Link Love

Hi everyone! I’m looking to revamp the Library and would love your input and participation.

One of the things that I have long been interested in adding are city guides. Because EAD is first and foremost about community involvement, my goal would be for both brides and vendors to write articles about planning a wedding in their city, including detailed vendor reviews, tips, real weddings, etc. This way, the Library would not only be an awesome resource for those planning a wedding and looking for vendors in ___-town, but also a fabulous source of inspiration for all of us. I’d like the city guides to initially focus on areas that don’t have a huge amount of blog resources devoted to them already.

With that in mind, if you are a bride-to-be or vendor interested in contributing or a recent bride interested in recapping your wedding and you are located in the following metro areas, please contact me and let’s chat.  If there is a metro area that you are very interested in having a guide for, let me know that too!

Boston
Charlotte
Portland
Austin
Denver
Indianapolis
Oklahoma City
Seattle
Nashville

I’d also love to hear from vendors whose work is nation-wide (ie - stationers, calligraphers) who would be interested in blogging.

Last but not least, if you have any suggestions for features that you would like to see in the Library, I would love to hear them.

The ability to provide the city guides and any new functionality will depend on the response that I get, so hopefully enough of you are interested in making the Library a great resource to allow this little project to get off the ground!

The Library has been updated with some great new links this week! Remember that listings on the Library are absolutely free, so that we can provide you with the most comprehensive wedding vendor listings possible. If you would like to be added to the Library or have a vendor you would like to recommend, simply contact us!

If you are a vendor and would like to participate in our expanded listing program, contact us and we’ll get you all set up.

I live in Columbus & am having my wedding near Cleveland. I have the hardest time finding any information for Ohio. My wedding planning is pretty much done (getting hitched in early October), but if you’re interested in either city I’ve got some great vendor recs :)

I’d love to see more resources for Chicago!

Phoenix, AZ, please! We are a huge metro area, but I CANNOT seem to find any images of real weddings, besides on photographers’ websites.

thanks for the suggestions everyone! i think i’d need 2-3 brides and 1-2 vendors from an area to really get the city guides going, so if you are from the cities that people have commented on and you are interested, please let me know!

Boston, please! I’m a Boston bride, and I’m also a graduate student and full-time employee at a crazy job, so my time is sadly limited.

Florida needs more resources! There was NOTHING when I was planning my wedding. I love all wedding blogs, but I wasn’t able to use any of the amazing vendors because they were all “up north”! Please help future FL brides! I’m more than willing to help out!
