That was definitely the corner it happened at! It was so insane that the guy was so persistent, and altogether a really unfortunate thing but it's a memorable story to tell for sure. How did you stumble upon the blog post? Kate- Garrett did actually get a notice about the license, in his parents' mailbox, but it was the day after we left to go to san francisco, which was the Big day, when it was completely unhelpful. I know this because I went to the bank one day to cash a check and was told my lic. has been expired for 4 months! :) I'm also impressed that he got through the line at the BHM airport. I work at 6th and Market (the corner where the guy approached you both) and I was just getting to work when I saw you guys and I had to stop to try to figure out what was going on (we don't see many people in wedding dresses in our neighborhood ;-). My co-workers and I were talking about it all day! So funny to finally put the pieces together. I was convinced you two were models on a photo shoot!
