I have a lot of hair and this 'lion's hair' of mine is also stubbornly straight and heavy. I've been told by a hairdresser that my hair is 'too healthy' and that by damaging it the hair would be easier to handle! My initial dream was to have my hair open during my wedding day, in soft, big curls -and as a dream that will stay. All attempts to make lasting curls have ended in disaster so I'll have my hair done up for the day. Your hair looks beautiful! That is very similar to how I see my hair done too. Alas I'm still in one big hairy mess when it comes to my hair. I'm hesitant to be a short hair bride, but am afraid that my hair won't grow out long enough for my May wedding. I've got rather fine stubborn Asian black hair that's flat on the crown, coupled with a really high forehead which often leaves me looking like I've got a comb-over. (Not too attractive I know.) Anyways, 'nuff about me.
