Real Weddings: Jennifer + Travis

Travis and Jennifer’s wedding was full of fabulous details and was made even more wonderful by the amazing photos from Katie Stoops of Open Air Photography.

Cowboy boots for the bride + a fluffy sunflower bouquet = perfection.

The Marriott Ranch was the perfect venue for the couple’s casual farm wedding.  It’s nestled in tiny Hume, VA (about an hours drive from Washington DC) at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.  Le sigh – look how beautiful it is!

The Marriott Ranch is thoughtfully detailed both inside and out.  I love the homey feeling created using family photos and lots of candles.

Jennifer and Travis held their ceremony underneath a large tree on the ranch.

Yellow dresses for the bridesmaids and gray suits for the groomsmen were paired with sunflower bouquets and boutonnieres by Lake Ridge Florist.

Jennifer rocked the cowboy boots with her Augusta Jones gown.

All of the reception decor was created by Jennifer’s mother and sister. They used glass jars & glass water bottles to hold sunflowers and baby’s breath and added candles galore – perfect for the farm setting.

I love the Ranch at night… especially with candles in mason jars and votive holders hanging from the trees!

  7. I got married at Marriott Ranch. It is an amazing property and can take on so many different feels and themes. The staff is SO accomodating. These pictures are fantastic! Sadly, it poured rain on our wedding day, so I didn’t get many outdoor shots!

I have to know where you got the striped ties for the groom and his grooms men! It’s exactly what I have been looking for to tie the whole look together
