Real Weddings: Jennifer + Travis
Welcome to the EAD Weddings blog! We are so excited to have you here. If you are a new visitor, we'd love for you to subscribe to our RSS feed and visit our sister site, EAD Living. Thanks for visiting and we hope you come back soon!
Travis and Jennifer’s wedding was full of fabulous details and was made even more wonderful by the amazing photos from Katie Stoops of Open Air Photography.
Cowboy boots for the bride + a fluffy sunflower bouquet = perfection.
The Marriott Ranch was the perfect venue for the couple’s casual farm wedding. It’s nestled in tiny Hume, VA (about an hours drive from Washington DC) at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Le sigh - look how beautiful it is!
The Marriott Ranch is thoughtfully detailed both inside and out. I love the homey feeling created using family photos and lots of candles.
Jennifer and Travis held their ceremony underneath a large tree on the ranch.
Yellow dresses for the bridesmaids and gray suits for the groomsmen were paired with sunflower bouquets and boutonnieres by Lake Ridge Florist.
Jennifer rocked the cowboy boots with her Augusta Jones gown.
All of the reception decor was created by Jennifer’s mother and sister. They used glass jars & glass water bottles to hold sunflowers and baby’s breath and added candles galore - perfect for the farm setting.
I love the Ranch at night… especially with candles in mason jars and votive holders hanging from the trees!
Last but not least, you know I have to close with my favorite photo - isn’t it adorable?
Katie, thank you so much for stopping by EAD today to share your work with us!
xo,
E.
